Hi, I’m madeline McIvor

After nearly 15 years in financial planning, I have a clear sense of what works — and what doesn't.

What I've seen work: planning that treats financial decisions as interconnected and evolving, not isolated events to be solved once and forgotten. What I've seen fall short: advice that's driven by product sales, asset gathering, or a single snapshot in time.

That clarity is what led me to build Arden Financial differently. A capped client roster means you get real attention. A flat fee means my incentive is your outcome, not your account balance. And a planning process built around ongoing decisions — not a single snapshot — means the advice adapts as your life does.

I hold a B.S. in Applied Economic Management from Virginia Tech and the CFP® certification, the highest standard in financial planning.

While I'm based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, I work virtually with clients across the country and enjoy helping individuals and families navigate the transition from building wealth to living on it. Many of my clients live throughout the Pittsburgh area, including Mt. Lebanon, Upper St. Clair, Sewickley, Wexford, and Fox Chapel.

My Approach

Ditch the formal, overcomplicated financial advice. I’m here to break it down in an easy to understand way.
